Mandela is alive and improving at home

Join us to pray for his recovery

There is news circulating online, especially on Facebook and other social networks that Mandela is dead.

This is bogus, as the former president and first black African to rule South Africa after the Apartheid era is currently at home and doing well.

Madiba, as he is commonly called was discharged from hospital in Pretoria on Saturday after spending nine days for treatment of pneumonia.

This blog has a correspondent in South Africa, and has confirmed that he is alive.

Please stop spreading the rumour of his death, and instead join the millions of his admirers and supporters to pray for his speedy recovery.

Rumors like this spread because the population is in need of credible information such as this, otherwise, I stand to be corrected that those wishing for his death must have something urgent to gain from it. In any case, I have been following with keen interest since his discharge from the hospital last weekend. A man of his caliber would not be discharged from hospital without evidence he had recovered reasonably. He has attained the most generous ripe old age and we pray that God adds more until his time to go and rest, but until then… Mandela lives. Thumbs up for you Iggy
